NCS_6June2013_waveThe National Center for Simulation welcomed its new and returning board members, at the December 2015 Board of Directors meeting. New board members are Bill “Roto” Reuter, president of R-Squared Solutions, and Michael Tschanz, Director of Technology and Alalysis/Design and Engineering for Walt Disney World. The five remaining seats were filled with returning members: Angela Alban, SIMETRI; Brian Holmes,AEgis Technologies Group; David Manning, StrategyONE Services; Marni Spence, CliftonLarsonAllen; and Mary Trier, Capital Communications and Consulting. Each director will serve a three-year term ending in October 2018.

Reuter is a retired Navy captain, and the former commanding officer of Naval Support Activity and Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. He has been serving the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) industry for nearly 8 years, and understands the important role that NCS plays in helping to nurture and grow Central Florida’s M&S industry in Orlando, the nation’s epicenter for M&S.

Reuter said: “The modeling and simulation industry has grown under the leadership of the National Simulation Center, and the challenge now is to maintain that rate and continue to evolve as technology does. The industry will look to NCS for strategic guidance, and I look forward to the challenge.”
